Elid grinding
A unique technology developed in Japan that can achieve a nano mirror finish through grinding alone! Practical applications are advancing across a wide range of uses.
The "Electrolytic In-Process Dressing (ELID)" grinding method is a mirror surface grinding technology developed at the RIKEN Institute's Materials Science Laboratory. It achieves high-efficiency and high-quality mirror finishing for hard and difficult-to-machine functional materials. It is currently being implemented for a wide range of applications. Due to the ability to maintain a stable grinding wheel surface condition, high precision and ultra-precision grinding can be achieved with good cutting performance, regardless of the abrasive grain size. 【Features】 ■ Achieves high-efficiency and high-quality mirror finishing ■ Being implemented for a wide range of applications ■ The grinding wheel used as a tool is made of cast iron ■ Utilizes metal bond grinding wheels with sintered abrasive grains ■ Ensures good cutting performance regardless of abrasive grain size *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
